“The police arrested me for DWI with a Child. After I got to jail, I learned that in Texas this is a Felony, even though I’d never been in trouble for anything in my life and this was my first charge ever. Kyle went through everything on my case, he found a problem with the case, and then he got the Judge to dismiss it! Kyle did a great job on my case. I would recommend Kyle to anyone that needs to make sure their case is handled thoroughly and professionally. ”

W.P.

“Kyle Watkins got my Felony dismissed.  DISMISSED.  It looked like the DAs were going to let me have it, until Kyle got involved and shut the whole thing down.  I cannot tell you how glad I am that Kyle Watkins was my lawyer.

“Before landing with the Law Office of Kyle Watkins, I talked to lots of lawyers.  Most of them seemed like good enough guys, but I just didn’t know who I could really trust.  I couldn’t decide on a lawyer, and things looked to be getting worse.  My employer was upset about some money.  Lots of money, as in thousands.  I contacted Kyle and the guy was all over it.  He got right into the middle of the investigation and put a lid on the thing before it went any further.  I’m free and clear thanks to his work on my case.  He is very, very good at what he does, and I’m so grateful for Kyle. He was extremely diligent and attentive. I can’t say enough great things about his service or his character.

D.O.

” If you’ve ever been in a position (in a legal manner) that feels hopeless, this is the place for you! I know it sounds cliche but a year ago I was arrested on a charge I didn’t commit. At the time, my wife bailed me out and we started looking for a lawyer to help us. The problem was every place we went to either was way overpriced or didn’t feel trustworthy, and we looked for a long time. Then we found The Law Office of Kyle Watkins and he helped us out. Kyle not only listened and came up with a plan of action, but also didn’t overcharge us. He stayed in touch with us every step of the way and always informed us of everything that was happening in a comprehensive way! I will forever be grateful for everything he did for us and the relief of knowing he was there working on the case was immense. I know this is long and a bit of a tangent, but he helped us in a fairly dark time, and I cannot understate how good it feels to know you’re in good hands! Coming to his office was one of the best decisions we made and it can be for you too. .” 2/11/18

The police were called, arrived, and woke up the client, who was startled and disoriented. The police smelled alcohol and asked client to perform field sobriety tests, which he did poorly on; the police attributed the poor performance to alcohol. “Dismissed: DWI — Client is a really nice lady that had a bad night. It was raining as she was on her way home from being out to dinner with friends. At an intersection, when attempting to turn right, her car slid into the light pole on the crosswalk island between the main lanes and the separate right turn lane. There was minor damage to her vehicle and the pole. Passersby called the police. Officers smelled alcohol, and client admitted to two vodka cranberries. Client agreed to perform field sobriety tests, on which the Officers believed she performed poorly. Client did not perform a breath or blood test. In the end, all agreed the Officers did have probable cause to arrest her, but there was not proof beyond a reasonable doubt in this case that she was ‘intoxicated’ for a jury to convict.”

“Dismissed: (1) Assault-Family Member, (2) Terroristic Threat-Family Member, (3) Intentional Interference with Emergency (911) call — Client and his wife have a house full of kids, and a lot of pressure and responsibility. Client is a successful construction manager, and wife is a stay-at-home mom. Client and his wife got into an argument about money and infidelity. Both were accusing the other of cheating. Client left, and wife called the police stating Client said to her during the argument “If you cheat on me, I will ruin your life”, and “If you do that, I’ll f__ing kill you”. Client was found and arrested. While that case was pending, another argument occurred months later; wife stated she wanted him out, and she was going to call the cops to make him leave. Client held wife’s phone up in the air, preventing her from reaching it to potentially call the police. When wife began pushing and scratching at client to get the phone, client grabbed her, and held her at a distance with his arm extended. Client then took the phone and left. Each of these cases had evidentiary problems, and would have been difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt at trial. In the end, client agreed to take classes on anger management in exchange for the dismissal of the cases.”
